Project Overview

The project

SECREDAS (Cyber Security for Cross Domain Reliable Dependable Automated Systems) brought together organisations from across the European automotive, transportation and medical value chains. The project developed architectural methodologies, reference architectures, reusable components and verification approaches designed to improve the trustworthiness of automated systems.
Context

The challenge

Connected and automated systems are becoming increasingly complex, particularly in the automotive, railway, aerospace and healthcare industries. These systems must meet demanding safety, cybersecurity and privacy requirements without compromising operational performance. However, these requirements are often assessed separately, making it difficult to design and certify systems that must satisfy them simultaneously.
