Dr. Claire Loiseaux

Her work covers embedded systems, smart cards, IoT, automotive, industrial systems, electronic signature, payment, 5G networks, TEE, HSM, and security certification schemes. She has supported organizations on Common Criteria, CSPN, EMVCo, EUCC, CRA, IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434, SESIP-related approaches, and other security assurance frameworks.

Claire holds a PhD in Computer Science from Verimag, Université Joseph Fourier, Grenoble. Her technical background in formal methods has shaped her approach to high-assurance cybersecurity, combining rigorous analysis, certification strategy, and practical implementation.

Before founding Internet of Trust in 2014, Claire was President and CEO of Trusted Labs, Head of Consulting & Evaluation at Trusted Logic, and Project Manager at Bull. She has also contributed to the creation and operation of evaluation laboratories, including CSPN, AFSCM, Mastercard CAST and EMVCo-related activities.

Claire has worked with public institutions, telecom operators, certification bodies, industrial companies, payment schemes, smart card vendors, IoT manufacturers and embedded security providers. Her references include work on protection profiles, EUCC scheme maintenance, 5G security frameworks, certification support, cybersecurity guidelines, and risk analysis for connected mobility, Industry 4.0, aeronautics and IoT systems.

She is also active in European standardisation and certification initiatives. She has supported ENISA-related work on EUCC maintenance and CRA alignment, acted as rapporteur for CEN-CENELEC work on cybersecurity requirements for hardware devices with security boxes, and has been a Eurosmart member since 2014 and board member since 2023.

At Internet of Trust, Claire’s mission is to help organizations make cybersecurity structured, certifiable and operational across digital products and services. Her approach combines technical expertise, regulatory understanding, risk management, and close collaboration with client teams.
