Mohamad Hajj is a cybersecurity manager and senior expert at Internet of Trust, with more than 14 years of experience in security consulting, certification, risk analysis and cybersecurity standardisation.
He supports product manufacturers, telecom stakeholders, certification schemes, laboratories and public authorities in addressing complex cybersecurity challenges across connected products, telecom systems, embedded systems, cloud-enabled architectures and high-assurance digital services.
Mohamad works across the full cybersecurity assurance lifecycle: threat modelling, risk assessment, security architecture review, security requirement definition, certification preparation, conformity assessment support and regulatory alignment.
His expertise covers 5G and O-RAN security, IoT and connected-product security, smart cards, eUICC/eSIM, trusted execution environments, FIDO, QSCD, PKI-based systems, EUDI Wallet architectures and cloud-integrated infrastructures.
He has strong experience in cybersecurity evaluation and certification schemes, including Common Criteria, EUCC, GlobalPlatform, CSPN, SESIP, GSMA NESAS and IoT security schemes. He has supported certification activities for products such as smart cards, Java Card platforms, secure elements, eUICC, TEE, IoT devices, 5G network products, FIDO U2F authenticators and QSCD components.
Mohamad is also active in cybersecurity standardisation and regulatory work. He is rapporteur for a CRA harmonised standard on hypervisors and container runtime systems within ETSI TC CYBER, and contributes to cross-vertical CRA topics such as remote data processing solutions, secure update and conformity assessment. He is also involved in ENISA EU5G cybersecurity certification activities, O-RAN WG11 security work, Eurosmart CDI, GlobalPlatform, ETSI TC CYBER and CEN-CENELEC activities.
At Internet of Trust, Mohamad leads and contributes to projects involving risk analysis, certification strategy, security requirement engineering, protection profiles, security targets, assurance methodologies and technical support to clients preparing for regulatory or certification activities.
Before joining Internet of Trust, Mohamad worked as an IT Security Consultant at Trusted Labs / Gemalto and as a Telecommunications Research Engineer at CISTEME in Limoges.
